D&D Traditional Japanese Futon Mattress, Twin Size

This traditional Japanese futon mattress is made of cotton batting and can be easily rolled up and stored in a closet, then rolled out right on the floor to sleep on. This efficient use of living space and storage makes it easily movable. The 3-inch thick futon mat is an ideal sleeping surface on the floor. These traditional floor-rolling futon mattresses are brand new and made in the USA. The color may be slightly different, either lighter or darker, than the original advertised photo. If color matching with your décor is important, we are happy to mail you a sample swatch for your review. These futon mattresses meet the legal flame retardant requirements.

The initial smell may come from the cotton and flame retardant treatments after being packed in the plastic bag and carton box, which is normal for all new items. Simply leave the mattress near an open window for a few days, and the smell will dissipate.

Due to their oversized shipping dimensions, these mattresses incur high shipping rates. To reduce costs for buyers, we have compressed the mattresses into smaller shipping boxes. Upon opening the package, the mattress may appear somewhat corrugated, causing the width and length to be slightly shorter. However, by fully stretching and pulling out both ends, the mattress will regain its original shape after a few uses.

Available sizes (in inches) include: 3 x 30 x 80, full size 3 x 54 x 80, queen size 3 x 60 x 80, and king size 3 x 72 x 80. The mattress is filled with 90% white cotton batting, 5% polyester fiber batting, and resilient foam.

For cleaning, we recommend using a mattress cover sheet to protect the surface. Spot clean only, then air out the mattress in direct sunlight or near an open window to dry. These mattresses meet all applicable flame retardant requirements by law.
